Soytastic - The Health Benefits of Soy

It is often taken as a given fact that soy is beneficial to our health, and that is certainly a healthier alternative to dairy products and meat. However, it is rare that someone actually asks or informs us, or what strain or why we should consume.

of soybeans - where it comes from

?

origins of soy can be traced back to Japan since the 2800 BC Since then, she has been prominent feature Asian food, and is associated with a lower incidence of cancer among those originating from this area (particularly in relation to the UK and USA) .

Soy was first introduced in Europe in the early 18 century, and has gone from being used almost exclusively as animal feed in the multi-billion dollar industry.

What is it?

is a highly nutritious soybean pods, which has more than 40% protein, Omega3 fatty acids, high fiber content and contains 'isoflavones' which are known to mimic the effects of natural estrogen. Also known as Glycine soja (wild soybean), soybeans are the world's primary source of vegetable protein and contain all essential amino acids, which gives him the title of 'complete protein'.

Why Consume Soy?

Aside from the obvious benefits of consuming soy above, there are several specific reasons why it would be smart to either soy diet or lifestyle. Soy has been more and more and more attention in terms of research over the past decade, and the following are the most prominent discoveries:

    Soy may help prevent heart disease;
    Soy has been shown to benefit those with, and prevent type 2 diabetes;
    Soy may help prevent breast cancer, colon, uterus and prostate;
    Soy may help prevent osteoporosis;

Soybean Production part of your diet

This is not as difficult as it sounds, such as soy products are becoming more and more accessible (in all shapes, sizes and flavors), as well as equipment such as soy milk makers, and tofu kits are now available for domestic use, as well as commercial.

Probably the biggest step towards increasing soy in the diet (and replacing dairy) is gained from converting to soy milk. Although some people find the taste of soy milk, 'different' to that of cow's milk, which passes, it can easily be overcome.

By mixing soy with cow's milk, in incremental steps in a period of one month or so, it can be a relatively easy transition.

Draft Transition:

Weeks 1-2: Use 25% soy and 75% cow's milk and cereal for drinking 'neat'. Use soy in coffee and tea, but with a splash of milk. Replace 25% of regular flour with soy flour when baking. Use soy milk in smoothies where the taste is much weaker than on cereals.

Weeks 2-4: Split 50-50 when using milk and flour. Use only soy in tea and coffee and a scoop of soy-based 'ice cream' along with regular ice cream.

Week 4 +: Increase Split to 25-75 in favor of soy milk and flour. Continue at this level until you feel accustomed to the taste of soy milk and other soy products.

This will not be long until your tastes change, and you really begin to prefer the taste of soy milk, especially in drinks such as smoothies, where soy gives a much more creamy taste.

Of all the different health food crazes are in existence, soy milk is probably one of the most unusual. Many people are considering to be the perfect answer to cow's milk, especially if they suffer from lactose intolerance or other milk sensitivity. the media is certainly chimed in to add your opinion about the alleged health benefits of this product, which has led to many more people making the switch from soybeans, but it's really a healthy choice? Better yet, the question should really be asked is, soy milk does not make you fat?

The answer to this question may surprise you, especially if you were listening to the mainstream of dieting and exercise. Understand the true nature of soy milk and that the overall effect on your health, it is necessary for you to look back at the history of soy. In order for you to do this, you will need to look at ancient Chinese culture, where, according to available records, the strain was first used.

Many of us look to ancient Chinese medicine in order to find ways to take care of our disease in a natural way. It's a little surprising to us, then, when we discovered that they actually had an opinion on soy and soy-based products. In fact, they were the first to ferment soybeans to make tofu, but interestingly, they rarely use soy products like soy milk. Why? Because they realized that a lot of toxins that will hurt the body, rather than cure. The same holds true today.

It is only in recent years that soy is widely used as a food product. As a matter of fact, it was not all that long ago that no culture on Earth uses soybeans, to feed the population. Until then, it's really considered unfit to eat. Unfortunately, the generation that thinks it is food insecure are more a target than those of us who are constantly bombarded with soybeans and soy-based products like the well-known products.

One of the reasons why it is so unsafe as a food source is because it is genetically modified more than almost any other food on the planet. In addition, it contains more pesticides than anyone should be exposed to in life. As a matter of fact, some of the soy is genetically modified so that they could be loaded with pesticides, not to influence them how their growth is concerned.

When you put those toxins in your body, it makes it difficult for your body to maintain its overall health. As a result, we become overweight, sluggish and our health declines considerably. If you want to maintain a higher level of health, avoid this product because it contains health benefits that will be taken into account, according to what is passed around by diet and weight loss industry.
