You may have often heard the virus is also known familiar with Influenza or Flu, the virus can attack many young and healthy. Influenza is a disease that cause to the death of hundreds of thousands of human beings each year in several countries, among others in the UK and the United States. The influenza vaccine can provide protection, but the influenza virus strain changes at any time, so that new vaccines must be made.

The most common symptoms of influenza are chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness and general discomfort. According to the experts, the most dangerous strain is a virus that mixed with animal DNA. Strain of virus destroys the body's immune system, so that gives the virus an opportunity to damage, weaken the body, and give ways for bacteria or other diseases.

Influenza C viruses only cause mild symptoms, while the type A and B cause annual epidemic in various parts of the world. Influenza can be spread through droplets of fluid when coughing or sneezing. Influenza can not be treated with antibiotics. Antibiotics only required if a complication of pneumonia (Inflammation Tuberculosis) or other bacterial infections.

To overcome the disease, people with influenza are recommended for a lot of rest, eat nutritious food, and drink lots of water. If people feel a fever, give febrifuge, such as acetaminophen or paracetamol. Coughing can be reduced by drinking sweet and hot juice, or hot orange juice mixed with a liitle bit honey.

The analysis shows, there is a clear relationship between the ways how womens think affected by breast cancer risk. They were optimistic to think that the risks have only 25 percent lower for a contagious cancer. Meanwhile, women who have two or three incidents or traumatic experiences have increased risk of 62 percent.

Dr. Ronit Peled from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, Israel, in results of his research that happiness and optimism could press the risk of breast cancer in women up to 25 percent. Whereas the experience or the traumatic incident like the divorce or lost someone who loved could worsen the risk. Dr. Peled and his team examined a number of factors associated with psychological stress such as loss of parents before being 20 years related with the risk of cancer. Dr. Peled is conducting research on the basis of the high risks of breast cancer experienced of women in Israel. Israel women is one of the group with the highest risk in the world in matter of breast cancer.

The importance of a positive and happy feelings reflected from a research recently published by BioMed Central journal BMC Cancer. The research indicates that happy woman and positive thinking tends to lower the risk of a contagious disease of breast cancer.

Feeling happy and positive thinking is always one of the key role in a life. With the optimistic and feeling happy, the risk of various diseases can also be pressed as lower as possible.

Immunization or Vaccination is one of the primary prevention to prevent infection with the disease, enter the vaccine product into the human body. Someone’s assumption is often wrong, that someone will not be immunized after infected by certain diseases. Nonetheless, although the someone has been immunized or vaccinated, he/she still has the possibility to be infected by certain diseases, but it will not be too serious, indeed, if not immunized or vaccinated, will be very easily infected. Anyway, although if you’ve got immunization or vaccination, you must still maintain your health.

There were various infectious diseases in and around us, there are some categories, it's incoming light, and incoming weight category. These diseases can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc.

Generally, there are 2 categories of disease, that is transmitted diseases and the disease is not contagious. The disease is not contagious such as, heart attack, hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis, rheumatism, etc.

1. Lightweight Disease Category
Influenza, Diarrhea, Sore Throat, Skin Disease, Sore Eyes, and others.

2. Weight Disease Category
Dengue Fever, HIV/AIDS, Measles, Chickenpox, Typhus, Tuberculosis (TB), Malaria, Bird Flu, SARS, and others.

3. Sexual Category
Sexual organs can also be affected by the disease, Gonorrhea. The most frightening is caused by HIV/AIDS.

Disease Transmission Methods
  • Transmission of various diseases, which are through direct contact, through the intermediary or animal dung.
  • Flu, Sore Throat, Diarrhea, TB, is transmitted through air, direct contact, drinking and eating in one place with the sufferer.
  • Chickenpox, Measles, Skin Diseases, Leprosy, Anthrax, usually transmitted through touch (skin contact), the former blanket or the towel that has been used by the sufferer.
  • The disease Dengue Fever, Malaria, spread directly by the mosquitoes bite that has bitten the sufferer.
  • HIV/AIDS, is transmitted through sexual intercourse, blood transfusion, the use of syringes with the same people.
  • Bird Flu, Leptospirosis, Rabies, Plague, be transmitted through animals, either through the air, animal dung, and so forth.
  • Polio, spread through human waste.
  • Sore Eyes, spread through direct contact (face to face each other).
  • Hepatitis B, C, be transmitted through blood transfusion, etc.
  • Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Herpes, is transmitted through sexual intercourse.
Various infectious diseases is around us, but we might not frightened, as long as we can maintain the cleanliness and health of our body. Therefore it is better to prevent than treated.

The following steps you can do for prevention:
  • Get used to wash hands before eating. Sometimes this is often considered trivial, but actually this is very important, because when the dirty hands attached on food, dirt can be merged into the body.
  • Maintain environmental hygiene, especially where you live, either in the home and in the home page.
  • Eat food with nutrition and a balanced nutrition.
  • Adequate rest.
  • Take a sport at least 2 times a week, if you do not have more time, try to move, for example, you can ascend the emergency stairs and does not need to use the elevator in the office or go to the shopping center.
